It is with great pleasure that The Starfish Holiday Club can announce the appointment of a new Play Manager, Pauline Bates. Pauline will be known to many of you as she has been filling the post of co-ordinator for some months now and we are very pleased that she applied for the promotion and has been successful. She will be spearheading the strong staff team that is already in existence and carrying on with her playwork studies at the same time, she also has other jobs in different areas and will be a huge asset to the club.

Always a forward moving, innovative organisation we are extending our opening hours and the service we provide. As from the summer holidays, 2011, we will be open from 08.30 to 18.00, If you feel you are struggling to meet the fees come and speak to us as we are anxious that cost is not a barrier to your child making use of the excellent service we have been providing for the last sixteen years and hope to continue to provide in spite of the somewhat gloomy economic forecast. Primary schools have access to funding at the moment which is easy to tap into but does need to be applied for by the school your child attends, we have the details for you to start the process.  See our web site for the new charges.

Would any parents/carers be willing to help us pilot payment of fees via bank transfer so that we can start to evaluate how best to deal with the planned phasing out of cheque books?

The new fees, as from Summer 2010 are £13 a half day, £23 a full day, extra hours @£4. The new price includes healthy snacks throughout the day.
